Day 28/365

A day at home for the Australia Day public holiday....outside in fair brisbane town an ex tropical cyclone was making its way south, the rivers were rising and people were once again moving to higher ground and trying to salvage their belongings.

We were lucky, apart from a minor leak in the kitchen no damage, no fallen trees or power outages, Greg got soaked at work directing traffic around a fallen tree while people were filming while they were driving...glad he didn't get hit by a reckless driver.

School starts tomorrow for most of the kids, but mine start on Wednesday.

Grateful we missed the effects of the flooding, my positive thoughts go to those who need them.
